Privacy Policy for ChatMock
This Privacy Policy explains how ChatMock handles information when you use the ChatMock app and related support pages published by Phaapnag at papadev.win.
1. Overview
ChatMock is a creative mockup and scripting tool that helps users create simulated chat, social post, and image-based demo content for entertainment, creative, and educational use.
ChatMock is designed to work primarily on-device. Users are not required to create an account to use the current public app flow.
2. Information ChatMock handles
- script text that you enter or import
- template settings such as names, avatars, and layout preferences
- images that you choose from your device for use in your mock content
- exported screenshots that you choose to save or share
3. How ChatMock uses information
- creating and editing mock chat or social-post content
- saving your draft content locally on your device
- importing text or JSON script files that you choose
- allowing you to select images from your device
- allowing you to export screenshots to your device or share them using your device's sharing tools
4. Local storage
ChatMock stores draft scripts, settings, and similar working data locally on your device using local app storage so you can reopen and continue editing your content later.
For the current public release plan reviewed on July 23, 2026, user-created scripts and screenshots are not intended to be uploaded to ChatMock-operated servers as part of the normal app workflow.
5. Photos, files, and media access
If you choose to use certain features, ChatMock may ask for permission to access photos, media, or files that you choose, and to save exported screenshots to your device's photo library.
These actions are initiated by you. ChatMock uses the selected content only to complete the feature you requested.
6. Sharing
If you choose to share an exported image, ChatMock uses your device's system sharing sheet to pass the exported file to the app or service that you choose. That sharing action is controlled by you.
7. Third-party frameworks
ChatMock is built with third-party frameworks and device services, including Expo and React Native libraries, to support features such as local storage, media selection, file import, screenshot capture, and sharing.
Before a future release goes live, this policy should be reviewed again if remote content sources, analytics, crash reporting, advertising SDKs, cloud sync, account systems, or server-delivered features such as downloadable font packs are added.
8. Data sharing and sale
ChatMock does not sell user personal data.
ChatMock does not intentionally share user-created script content, imported files, or exported screenshots with third parties except when you explicitly choose to share exported content using your device's share function or disclosure is required by law.
9. Data retention and deletion
Because ChatMock primarily stores working data locally on your device, you can delete your drafts or exported files from your device, clear app storage through your device settings, or uninstall the app.
10. Security
Reasonable steps are taken to limit handling of user information to the features needed for the app to work. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
11. Children's privacy
ChatMock is not intended to encourage unlawful, deceptive, or harmful conduct. If local law applies special rules to minors' data, this policy should be updated as needed for the intended audience and distribution region.
12. Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If material changes are made, the "Last updated" date will be revised and additional notice may be provided where appropriate.

14. Plain-language summary
ChatMock is designed as an on-device creative mockup tool. Draft scripts and settings are stored locally on the user's device. The current public release plan does not intentionally require user account creation or upload user-created content to ChatMock-operated servers.
